For anyone in the software industry, we know one thing to always be true: It is adoption that makes software projects successful.
Adoption is important even if the software is conceptually simple and easy to use. You can have an application that provides all the information at just the right moments, needs little maintenance and automates your processes — but if no one uses it, nothing else matters.
Without adoption, software investments are wasted. Most likely, employees have been inconvenienced and frustrated by poorly managed and ineffective change. But if you properly manage that change, your business gets the commitment and confirmation from employees that this was a needed change.
Training and software education play a key role in software adoption
We know our customers want to get the most out of their software investment, and at Drishti, we have the same goal. We’re also making software investments in resources and tools for our customers — all for the sake of helping our customers manage this change and increase Drishti adoption on their factory floors.
With that in mind, I’m very excited to announce the creation and launch of our new Drishti Education program and learning website.
This new program and website are strong examples of how continuous improvement is not just a theme for our customers — it is a theme for us, as well. When I joined Drishti, I spent my first several weeks listening to customers and discerning their learning needs. That feedback loop remains incredibly important, which is why we have continued to gather feedback as we launch this new program.
Terry Johnson, advanced production engineer with Denso North America, used Drishti Education to help prepare himself to train his colleagues.
“Drishti Education made me feel much more confident going into the Drishti Portal and gave me the knowledge I needed to help train others at Denso,” said Johnson. “The site is responsive, classes are short and sweet and the objectives are clear from the beginning.”
Feedback like this is why the Customer Education team has been hard at work putting together this new learning website and creating valuable training content. We’re thrilled to offer these resources to our customers!
The Drishti Education website provides one place for easy learning
One thing I heard repeatedly from customers is that they need a central location for training and education materials. We know time is valuable on the plant floor, so keeping resources in one place where everyone has easy access is important.
Training plans and convenient micro-learning content will help Drishti users understand how to get the most value out of Drishti quickly. This ultimately gives customers more time to dedicate to acting on the invaluable data Drishti analytics provide.
Anytime access from anywhere, so everyone gets the training they need
Simple navigation and clear labeling make finding learning material for yourself and your team easy. Training videos and in-portal guides are organized for your team — accessible whenever and wherever needed. All that’s required is an internet connection.
The learning material is for all Drishti Portal users: the tenured customer, the new customer, the new employee who just started on your team, the person who couldn’t make the live training, or the project leader looking to get people on board or train the masses. As long as you’re a Drishti portal user, you have immediate access to the learning website.
On-demand content makes learning Drishti manageable and worry-free
One of the key features of our Drishti Education program is actually the training content itself. Training modules are thorough, distilling hours of knowledge into easy-to-consume material. You can get a quick start and stay on top of your learning since the site will follow your progress.
Learning something new can be nerve-racking. Sometimes, the effect of change leads to “analysis paralysis,” and we never even make that first step forward. This new site guides you through what you need to know, quickly. Plus, we all learn at different speeds and in different ways. No one will feel left out with multiple options for learning or rushed with content they can access in their own time and review at their own pace.
The Drishti Education team is just getting started! This new learning website gives our customers additional, easy ways to learn their Drishti Portal and a solid platform for delivering our education programs. We look forward to developing more tools and resources for Drishti learning in the future.
